Having nut allergies and wheat, dairy and sweetener intolerance in one family, can make for some interesting meals. This is one (of the many) reasons why we tend to cook from scratch.
Growing our your own food is amazing, there is nothing like sitting down to a plate of your own veg.
Health & Well-being
Taking control of our own health and well-being is important to us. Listening to our bodies, supporting when needed and creating strong systems so that we can cope with anything life throws at us.
Our food, lifestyle and environment affect our health and well-being. Food, household products and time management are areas that can be changed relatively quickly.
When it comes to food we home cook, home grow and buy organic when we can. This reduces our exposure to pesticides, additives, preservatives, and the general additions that go into processed food these days. Our bodies can't always remove these chemicals, storing them instead of flushing away - this can cause a multitude of health problems.
Replacing toxic household products makes a huge difference in any home, especially for us where we have some sensitive respiratory systems.
Taking time out to be together, enjoying the moment and being present makes a huge difference to a family and individually - great for the mind, body and soul. Easy to do when you stop, think and allow yourself the time.
